PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION
Catch Me In America |
Written by recent immigrants from around the world, "Catch Me In America" is a clarion call to all citizens as the country grapples with immigration policy. Poignant and poetic, the play follows a young girl as she struggles to remember her journey having experienced amnesia as a result of a recent car accident.
The play was written by students from Manhattan International High School under the tutelage of award-winning playwright Amy Witting. It is a searing portrait of how young immigrants are being treated in Trump's America and the dreams they still hang onto.
